5-6 Focus This informative overview will prepare you to launch Fountas & Pinnell Classroom (FPC) this fall. Come hear about the 7 instructional contexts for teaching reading across the day: read-aloud, shared reading, word study, guided reading, book clubs, reading mini lessons, and independent reading.
By the time you leave this session, you will be able to identify the instructional contexts of FPC, locate the suggested sequence for each context for planning purposes, and explain which contexts are for whole group, small group, and independent instruction.
